Steam Turbines - Gas Turbines
The Steam and Gas Turbines sector supplies components for thermal steam or gas turbines, such as:
- diaphragm half rings
- casing half rings
- sealing rings
- diffusers
- shields and components for hydraulic turbines
Nuclear power plants
Components for the cooling and control circuits such as the following are supplied for this sector: - pump bodies
- sealing rings
- discharge pipes
- fuel containers
Hydro Power
Less important in volume terms, but critical as regards materials, this sector requires components such as:
- labyrinth rings
- crowns for Francis wheels
- hubs for Pelton wheels
- pipes for diffusers
- sealing rings
Wind Power
The Forgital Group only entered this sector in recent times, following the convergence of two lines of development in the sector itself. The first of these is the powerful surge in the increase of power produced by generators and the consequent continuing increase in tower height; the second development line relates to the remarkable growth in demand with the virtually exponential expansion of the sites and number of towers installed.
Forgital's response has been excellent both at the technical level and as regards production volumes, thanks to its consolidated knowledge, the reliability of its processes and the continuous investments in plants.
