Aldo Carrabino has been appointed new CFO of the Forgital Group, an Italian based manufacturing group producing large forged and machined components for the global aerospace and industrial sectors, acquired by The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) on September 10, 2019.
Aldo Carrabino, 38 years old, brings almost 15 years of experience in the management control system, administration and finance fields, holding management positions in the industrial sector developed in multinational and private equity sponsored companies.
After a degree from Bocconi University, Aldo started his career in 2005 in the Audit Division of Deloitte. In 2012, he joined the Rhiag Group, one of the international leaders in the distribution and selling of spare parts for automobiles and other vehicles, first as CFO of the Italian operations and subsequently as Group CFO in 2015. After the acquisition of the Rhiag Group by global leader LKQ, in 2017 Aldo was appointed CFO EMEA of LKQ.
